Are you an incoming Filipino student commencing your studies in an educational institution in the state of Victoria, Australia? Are you anxious about the challenges of moving to a new city? Join FASTCOmpanion and we will help you get adjusted to your new life!
 

New students will be paired with FASTCO members who are currently studying or recently concluded their degrees in the state. Mentors and mentees will complete a series of activities that will introduce the latter to life as an international student in Victoria.

The pool of mentors come from esteemed Australian universities like the University of Melbourne, La Trobe University, and Deakin University.

 

Interested mentees must meet the following criteria to apply to the program:

•    Must be an incoming student of an Australian institution in Victoria.

•    Must be at least 18 years old as of application time.

•    Must be planning to live in Victoria for the next 6 months.

•    Must be of Filipino or Filipino-Australian descent.

•    Must have no criminal record.

We are accepting incoming students (Undergraduate, Masters, Diploma, PhD, TAFE, Nursing) as mentees for the first run of FASTCOmpanion.
